What is Mental Health?

Mental Health is your emotional and mental ability to cope with the challenges presented to you each day. These challenges can range from missing the bus home or not finding a parking space, to difficulties with your housemates and exam worries. It is a state of wellbeing that allows you to care for yourself, cope with life’s stresses and perform to your best. Your academic years are filled with many ups and downs and therefore student mental health awareness is really important so that you can prepare for, and react to, this exciting period of change.
